Abstract

The present literature review provides current data on the pathogenetic relationships of systemic diseases of the autoimmune nature and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The importance of discussing these pathologies are due to the increase at the present stage of their frequency, significant economic losses due to the population disability, high mortality, which according to predictions of the World Health Organization (WHO) tends to increase. This article reveals aspects of cross pathogenetic mechanisms and the risk of comorbid pathology based on epidemiological studies.

Key words

systemic autoimmune diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, morbus Bechterew, ankylosing spondylitis, pathogenesis, comorbidities
